The village and its hamlets are located at the entrance of the Regional Natural Park of Loire-Anjou-Touraine. In the middle of forested area you can see two chateaux. The chateau of Maurepart, surrounded by a park with wide avenues, a beautiful building which has retained its character from the 14th and 15th centuries and the chateau Bois - Airault which belonged to the Aubigné family during the 15th century.

There is also an ancient manor house in the vicinity of Linieres; this former 15th century manor is now practically destroyed. Some crosses still indicate the alleyways. The church dedicated to St. Aubin, bishop of Angers in 550, has been restored. The rural population is engaged in mixed farming and wine making, and produces mainly rosé wine.
